Appearance

Laura's appearance, by virtue of her Stand's powers, looks pretty extreme, to harvest people's attention and through that, their beliefs. Her bleach-white hair is flamboyant and wavy, and her face and skin is bewitchingly smooth and perfect. Her body is an extreme hourglass, and most of her height is from her toned legs.

She often changes her getup, but most commonly, she wears a beret, a black jacket with the zipper only halfway closed from up to down, and a checkered red skirt. She uses black, fingerless gloves, the left of which extends to her elbow, and black thigh-length boots fill out the rather revealing ensemble she wears.


Personality

She is pragmatic and ambitious, and hardly as serious and femme fatale as she tries to behave while in public. She's actually very homely, even goofy. Within, she's a warm person, with a penchant for being laid-back and seeing the best in people and situations. However, that doesn't change that she's still got nerves of steel, being very strategically-minded and a calculated risk-taker, with the talent to back it up.


Backstory

Having recently arrived to the US to start her psychology degree, she stabbed her foot on an arrow while she was checking out the basement in the home she would rent. And from then on, she gained a Stand.

Or a sort of curse, as she understood it at the time. She had pretended to be sick while on a bus to try to dissuade people from sitting next to her, but at that - she became really sick. She started to cough for real and feel very dizzy, and quickly went home. Then, she went to the hospital to get checked. However, she seemed to not be able to find her insurance card when it was her turn at the counter, and when she finally felt it in her pocket, she suddenly felt it disappear.

Her eyes would blot open, and she froze. But, she knew that nobody would believe what she had just experienced. She was cursed. And because of that, alone.

Days passed after the incident, with her having never left her house since then, until she returned to the basement and there, found a few notes about "Stands" and the power that they held.

Eventually understanding the true nature of her power, and with newfound confidence from that, she has decided to fully understand the nature of these weird things, and try to find others with these miraculous powers (mostly so that she can keep track of such potentially dangerous individuals.)
