Backstory: Sugar Leppard has the appearance of someone from the Eastern Hemisphere. His father and mother, Reji and Midori Hideyoshi, escaped their homeland after the death of Reji's Daimyo. The late daimyo gave Reji an arrow of untold power, one that could turn mortal into god. Reji and Midori, carrying an unborn Sugar, braved the sea fare to the Western land where they reside as humble farmers. They threw away their previous identities to keep their whereabouts unknown.

• Rock Leppard- Previously known as Reji Hideyoshi. Rock adopted this name once he came to the Western Lands otherwise known as America. He was once a stern, fierce samurai who served underneath a proud and mighty Daimyo, but a rival Daimyo made a move for Reji's lord once rumor spread of a mystic artifact kept within his lands. The prideful Reji under the orders of his Daimyo took the artifact and fled the country under his lord's orders and full of shame. It's his biggest regret that he couldn't stand by his lord to this day, but he knows he made the right choice getting the artifact out of Japan.
• Hysteria Leppard - Previously known as Midori Hideyoshi. Midori was a young noble woman who wanted to live a less-restrictive lifestyle. She yearned for the outside world, and perhaps that's why she was instantly attracted to the wild and fierce Reji Hideyoshi. The two grew quite quaint of one another in a few years and married. Midori serves as Reji's unshakable emotional pillar, because contrary to Reji's stern facade he carries an emotional baggage. This girl has a mindset as unshakable as Reji's. She braved a rough sea trip while carrying Sugar within her, and if that's not a testament to her strength not feat can hold weight.
