Missions and Plot Events

A way to earn money for your character IC (In Content) in order to buy tools such as Heirlooms and the like. There are not pre-made missions in order to force you, the player, to be creative and make missions for your character to complete. To follow a certain guideline would limit your creative freedom and therefore ruin the experience of RPing your character. Having said that, do not make the mission one of world-altering proportions; world-altering events are reserved for Plot Events hosted by this site's staff members (more on Plot Events below).

Long story short - Missions are for earning money, Social threads are for making connections, and Plot Events are for developing the world around your character(s).

Mission Rewards
Only during missions do you earn monetary rewards, but success or failure does not matter because every 5 posts earns your character 100 Currency.

The world-altering events hosted by this site's staff members! Plot Events take place one Timeline at a time in order to keep chaos to a minimum. Plot Events start with a sign-up thread in which you, the player, sign-up your Timeline appropriate character. After some time of letting other players sign-up, the staff members of this site will determine if the signed-up character need to be split into groups with separate threads to keep chaos to a minimum and then make these threads.

These threads might take place in different location within the world, but they will all take place at the same time within the same Timeline in order to allow for crossover between threads and characters. Regardless of how many Plot Event threads are made, there will always be a time limit of 7 days between staff member posts in order to keep the Plot Event moving (if the players aren't moving along the Plot Event thread themselves).

Hopefully the Plot Events don't last longer than 2-3 months, but just in case Plot Events last longer than expected - signed-up/pre-approved characters are allowed to enter and exit their respective plot threads in order to develop their characters outside the perpetually Death-Enabled Plot Event Threads. However, the Plot Event threads ought to keep moving without need for all characters to be present~

Plot Rewards
If you haven't noticed already, Plot Events are where your character might earn Gifted and/or Ascended Tier (Power Tiers). There may be monetary rewards similar to Mission Rewards, but Plot Events are meant to aid in the progression of the world which may or may not directly affect a participating character.
