Guldemond Lineage

Lineage Namesake: Lead singer and keyboardist of Mother Mother.

Backstory: A family with a long history of shamanism who specialised in healing and bringing luck. Though it was unclear how successful their practices were, they gain a positive enough reputation to make a living off of them. This remained true until the beginning of the victorian era, when they came upon some hard times.

• Debra - A Shaman from Africa who came to Europe to sell good-luck charms. Being a business woman at heart, she hoped that that the novelty of her wares being “exotic” would increase profits.
• Kop - Once an ordinary, down-on-his-luck factory worker who struggled to support his wife and child, Kop was one of Debra’s first European customers. To both their surprise, he received a ludicrous amount of inheritance from an unknown uncle on the very same day he bought one of her charms. Eager to both show his gratitude and gain greater access to the luck that Debra seemed to have control over, he offered her a job as a live-in servant and she accepted. The two later had a short-lived affair that resulted in a child.
