Romero Lineage Namesake: Sounds similar to "Romantic" while also having an interesting origin. Backstory: Originally from the famous Roman Empire, the Romero's were one of many families who swore to reach the holy land of Jerusalem on a pilgrimage of salvation. Many members of the original pilgrimage did not survive the journey, but nonetheless someone of this lineage succeeded in reaching the holy land and cemented their surname in history as a "romero", hence this lineage's blunt name. Over the course of decades the Romeros simply survived within the harsh environment of Jerusalem, tasking themselves with guarding the numerous cemeteries dug for various armies through the Crusades. No matter the side, the cemetery would be guarded by a Romero through thick and thin; granted, this guardianship was made easier due to a gift caused by this lineage's stalwart devotion. Unfortunately, probably due to the unique power granted to the devote Romero lineage, kidnappings were commonplace. For better or for worse, only descendants with devoted hearts could call forth the ancient power gifted long ago. Descendants:NPC- Sabella Akoni Primitus Romero - The first true Romero! Upon completing her pilgrimage from Rome to Jerusalem, Sabella posthumously changed her late husband's last name and her own to Romero in order to honor her family's sacrifice. She also gave birth to a son and started to watch over the small cemetery holding her late family's remains.
- Tadeas Romero - The first Romero to be gifted a unique power for his lineage's continued devotion! In thanks for his mighty power, Tadeas ceased his mischievous ways in order to protect the valuable remains of his ancestors. Every descendant sired by Tadeas would continue to be bless with this gift of a power, so long as the descendant showed devotion towards something...regardless of what this 'something' may be.
- Jarak Romero - Despite being kidnapped in his late infancy, Jarak carried on his linage's devote nature and therefore the unique gift. Jarak fought for many armies and survived several wars through the help of his linage's ancient sacrifice. As a twist of fate, Jarak eventually settled down in Rome as a cemetery's warden.
- Agata Romero - Whisked away from Rome by a charming traveler to England, Agata eventually fell upon hard times. As a single mother abandoned by her whimsical lover, Agata devoted herself to her child's needs and started working in a brothel. However, the hard times did not last long, for Agata's son at least; Agata died while a secret lover to an exploration loving Duke. In loving memory of the late Agata, her son was allowed to keep the Romero surname despite being raised as a son by the kind-hearted Duke.
