Traits and Stats

Every character has a set of Statistics (Stats) which affect various, broad aspects of a character's physical and mental composition such as the aforementioned Guts and Focus a character possesses. As a character progresses through their Power Tiers, more Stat Points (and Traits) become available to allocate as you see fit.


The actual method used to score a character's Stats. You can either use numbers or grades (similar to canon Jojo) in order to determine a character's capabilities. Below is the list of numbers and grade equivalents with the highest grade being S.

These are the actual stats into which you allocate Stat Points in order to distinguish or simply specialize your character. Note there is a multiplier next to each Stat - this multiplier indicates how to translate the allocated Stat Points into tangible results which is explained in more detail below.




The physical strength of your character. Every character, no matter their Race, is limited to C Grade (2 stat points) of strength. However, Race does determine a character's available Traits to choose from, some of which may or may not remove physical limits such as Strength. Not much else to add other than the below list detailing how allocated Stat Points are translated for this Stat;





The physical speed of your character. Much like physical strength, every character has a speed limit - C Grade (2 stat points). Also like physical strength, physical speed can be affected by Traits, too. Long story short, the points you put into speed translate into how fast your character can move in Meters per Second also abbreviated to m/s. 1 stat point is 0.5 m/s, 2 stat points is 1 m/s, and so on with the only exception being 0 stat points being 0.25 m/s.




This stat determines the amount of Focus a character is able to allocate for Power based abilities. Simply double the allocated stat points for this Stat and you have your character's Focus meter. 1 stat point equals 2 Focus, 2 stat points equals 4 Focus, and so on (0 stat points = 0 Focus). Unlike Guts, Focus is allocated (set aside) depending on a given ability's Focus cost. To regain the Focus, the cooldown on a used ability must finish and your character can use the formerly allocated Focus once again.




The more Guts your character has, the more physical based abilities they can use. Multiply the allocated stat by 10 to determine a character's Guts meter. 1 stat point equals 10 Guts, 2 stat points equals 20 Guts, and so on (0 stat points = 0 Guts). Unlike Focus, Guts is spent and recovered over time. However, while a physical boost is being used, Guts cannot recover at all; a character must not spend any Guts during a post in order to recover at the normal rate of 2 Guts per post. Race does not affect the recovery rate; instead certain Traits alter how the Guts stat works.




A character's Willpower determines the effectiveness of their Power's abilities. Multiply the allocated stat points by 3 and then allocate those Willpower Points into Power parameters. The parameters able to be affected by Willpower are Range, Force, and Cooldown (more details below).

• Range
  This parameter directly controls the maximum range a Power ability is allowed to have. For every 1 Willpower Point allocated to this stat - 1 meter of max range from your character is possible for your Power abilities. 0 points equals no tangible range (stuff like self-buffing), 2 Willpower Points equals 2 meters of max range, and so on. In the case of Stands, their specific Power works off the Stand's position, too.
• Force
  This parameter helps determine the winner between Power vs. Power clashes. Simply put - more Force means a higher chance of success against another individual's Power (where applicable). Power Clashing is logic based, so I trust you (the player) to sensibly determine when Force is necessary to determine a Power Clash winner. Of course, staff will help if asked or when deemed necessary.
• Cooldown
  Every Power based ability has a cooldown to take into consideration. However, not all Power based abilities (ak abilities using Focus) share the same cooldown (more Focus means more cooldown). This stat helps a user lower the cooldown of their Power abilities by 1 post for every 1 point. A cooldown of 10 posts is lowered to 8 posts with a Cooldown stat of 2, and so on. The lowest cooldown possible is 1 post (aka cannot use a single ability more than once per post), so there is a limit to this stat's capabilities.
